Complex structures? No problem!

speedtest-29-oct-2014The DARWIN Cloud Computing offer guarantees up to 1000 Mbit/s connection to the network for all the Cloud Servers. The Cloud Server Pro has no bandwidth limits, whereas the Cloud Server Smart has limited internet traffic based on the chosen package.

Compared to the services offered by other competitors, DARWIN Cloud Servers Pro can be connected with each other through the use of Virtual Switches like an actual physical structure.

You may also choose to configure Public IPs and totally remove the connectivity of the Cloud Server Pro to manage the structure from the Recovery Console.
Each Cloud Server Pro has 3 Network Adapters which can be connected to the Public IPs for Internet connection and to the Virtual Switches to create Private Virtual Networks

  • 3 Network adapters for each Cloud Server Cloud Server Pro
  • Up to 1000 Mbit/s
  • Virtual Private networks Cloud Server Pro
  • Possibility to disconnect the Cloud Servers from the public network

virtual server network example

Virtual Switch Cloud Server Pro

network virtual switchThe Virtual Switch is equivalent to a physical network Switch that allows you to connect two or more Cloud Servers Pro in a private network.
The speed of the Virtual Switch is 1000 Mbit/s per port, even if the speed of each Cloud Server is limited to what is offered by the respective hypervisor.
Each Virtual Switch is reserved for the user from the moment it is created until it is deleted. The internal network traffic is not calculated and is free.

Public IPs

network public ipThe public IPs are necessary to connect the Cloud Servers to the public network and can be purchased separately from the Cloud Servers. When the Cloud Servers are created, a configured Public IP is automatically assigned to each one, which, in case of Cloud Servers Pro, can later be changed or deleted by the user.

The speed towards the public network is 1000 Mbit/s per port, even if the speed of each Cloud Server is limited to what is offered by the respective hypervisor.

Each Public IP is reserved for the user from the moment it is created until it is deleted.

For the Cloud Server Pro the external network traffic is not calculated and is free. For the Cloud Server Smart the external network traffic is limited based on the chosen package.

Bandwidth and traffic

speedtest-29-oct-2014Connectivity is one of the fundamental elements of Cloud services, this is why DARWIN has dedicated a considerable amount of bandwidth to the Cloud Computing service.
In normal conditions the bandwidth is of 100 Mbit/s for Cloud Servers with Hyper-V manager and of 1000Mbit/s for Cloud Servers with VMWare vSphere manager.

In an emergency or systems full-load conditions, we guarantee at least 10Mbit/s for each Cloud Server towards the Internet.
