The Hypervisors are software tools used to create and manage the Cloud Servers. Each Hypervisor has its own characteristics and different costs per hour. The Cloud Server Smart only comes with the VMware hypervisor, whereas the Cloud Server Pro in addition to this, also comes with the Hyper-V hypervisor (in two different options).

You have the possibility to choose a different hypervisor every time you create a Cloud Server Pro. Study the characteristics of each of the hypervisors to choose the one adapted to your project. Once a virtual machine has been created, it will not be possible to change its hypervisor. The import and export format of the virtual disk images is also subject to the hypervisor setting.
VMware vSphere is a powerful Hypervisor, with great compatibility and many tools. For Cloud Servers Pro it is possible to import and export virtual machines in .vmdk format even from other websites like Bitnami, Jumpbox and Webuzo.

It is possible to import and export machines and virtual disks in .vhd format, natively supported by recent Microsoft operating systems. Microsoft Hyper-V is available only for Cloud Server Pro.
